Prep 2024 Enrolment Information

2024 Prep Enrolments at Camperdown College:

If you are interested in enrolling at our school, please request an enrolment form from our Junior Campus Office at camperdown.co@education.vic.gov.au or by phone at 5593 1438.

Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.

Students residing within and around Camperdown (with Camperdown College as the closest government school) are guaranteed a place at our school. To find out whether you live in our school zone, visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au. All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:

  1. Students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time,
  2. All other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.

The Department of Education (DE) has released a new state-wide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Camperdown College.

The new timeline will apply for children starting Foundation (Prep) in 2024. All government primary schools will follow the new timeline in 2023 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2024 school year.

The ‘Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents/Carers’ resource, along with information, factsheets and resources, is available to download from the Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) webpage within the Starting school page on the Vic Gov website.

At Camperdown College, our enrolment packs are distributed to families via our local kindergartens and also upon request from Monday 19th June (last week of Term 2). Our enrolment timeline, as shown below, complements the Transition: A positive start to school initiative.
